Epps welcomes everyone to join the 6th International Law Enforcement and Public Health Conference (22-26 March 2021), convened by Temple University, Drexel University, the University of Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson University and Rutgers University-Camden, in collaboration with the Global Law Enforcement & Public Health Association.

 

Meet the Provost

JoAnne A. Epps is executive vice president and provost of Temple University. As Temple’s chief academic officer, she oversees all academic policies and activities of the university, and works with deans, faculty and university administrators on matters related to the curriculum, teaching and learning, and faculty research. Her portfolio includes Faculty and Academic Affairs, Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, Computer Services and Graduate Education.

For more than three decades, Epps has served Temple as an innovative leader and distinguished educator. She has continually demonstrated her commitment to the university’s mission of providing a high quality education that is both accessible and affordable, and elevating its national and international stature. Epps has been widely regarded as an influential leader in legal education, and brings to her new role as provost the same passion, integrity and commitment to service that characterized her deanship at the Beasley School of Law.
