Leph2021

Join us next week!Police are constantly under pressure, with demands and criticisms from all sides. Recent events, especially in the US, have stimulated much discussion about how to best achieve optimum public health, order, safety, equity and social justice. Calls to rid ourselves of our endemic over-reliance on policing and the legal system have moved from the progressive edge to the centre of public policy debates in many communities globally; and worldwide, communities are exploring alternative and innovative approaches. The Global Law Enforcement and Public Health Association, through its Envisaging the Future (EtF) project, has been identifying such initiatives globally, with a view to learning from their experience about what works best and how it works.Preliminary results of this work are being presented in a series of regional webinars. The region of Eastern Europe and Asia Pacific is the focus of the second session on Thursday 17th June at 12:00pm Moscow/ 4:00pm BKK. Please see the link to pre-register below.Full English/Russian interpretation will be provided for this session. We look forward to seeing you there.https://lnkd.in/guqAuBz]
